Everyone who was confused whether if the website crashing was a set of flukes or huge co-incidence. I talked to my mentors and figured out that it is totally usual for a website to crash when they receive some input that they do not intend to receive and if the error catch and try is not coded properly it leads for the whole website to crash.
That is what happened in this case as much as I figure out and it does not need to be a xss attack it could easily have been five exclamation marks ( !!!!! ) in a row and that too in theory can cause this type of response from the website.
