- I have already written an article what would I have done if the password wasn’t in the rockyou.txt file you can read it here.
- This attack doesn’t care if the person knows the password or not as long as the device he is using is able to connect to the internet and their are advanced attack using the WPS pin where the password can be cracked without the need of all this.
- Yeah even if the victim has no idea who I am, the attack can still be carried out as long as we are in the network range.
- Yeah this attack is meant for situation where the WPS pin is disabled and the latest firmware update is in place. This attack is possible on entire WPA-2 protocol irrespective of the firmware.
